11.00 Arrival at archaeological site of Phaistos with the canteen being run by the Community of Kamilari

 

The Phaistos site

There was given a guided tour by Michalis Spyridakis to explain what happened to the former palace which was destroyed by two earthquakes.

The second Phaistos Discussion

After the tour, after a second breakfast, there was started the Second Phaistos discussion.

(the first discussion took place in 1994 with poets discussing 'Myth in Poetry' and preparing for the Fifth Seminar, "Cultural Actions for Europe" held afterwards in Athens 1994)
