Myth of the City 1994
In 1994 15 poets and 15 urban planners, architects, philosophers travelled through Crete with stops in Iraklion - Forthnet, Kamilari, Phaistos, Chania and Milia. Hartmut Schulz was the official photographer to document the events, poetry readings, discussions, landscapes passed through. Always observant but discret he stayed in the background or was almost invisible, not present, so that no one really took notice when he took a photo.
It started with taking the ship from Piraeus to Iraklion, and everyone gathering on deck to have a first chat.
