2. Vorgehensweise / way forward

Was wird gemacht?

Es besteht die Möglichkeit, dass wir eine oder mehrere gemeinsame Arbeiten vor Ort zu erstellen und die Arbeiten derjenigen, die nicht zu dem Zeitpunkt der Ausstellung in Berlin sein können mitauszustellen.

Alle Arbeiten sollten sich jedoch alle mit dem Thema "im Schatten von Guernica" befassen.

Nach einer Möglichkeit der Finanzierung wird von den Galeristen Ausschau gehalten. Gleichzeitig werden sich die Künstler hinter Kids' Guernica um eigene Finanzierungsmöglichkeiten kümmern z.B. Asit Poddar mittels der Botschaft von Indien zwecks Deckung seiner Reisekosten.

Volkmar Sommer informiert sich ebenfalls, ob angrenzende Galerien auch an der Aktion interessiert sein könnten.

Parallel dazu soll eine Kids' Guernica Aktion statt finden

es soll ein Kids' Guernica Friedensbild in Kreuzberg entstehen
Künstler die mit den Kindern arbeiten können und darum auch die Arbeiten der ausstellenden Künstler veranschaulichen können z.B. mit Boris Ivandic, Berlin

What is intended?

There exists the possibility that we create in Berlin one or more common works as well works of those who cannot come to Berlin.

All works should deal with the topic 'in the shadow of Guernica'.

The gallery owner Volkman Sommer will attempt to raise money through sponsorship from private companies. At the same time, Kids' Guernica artists will seek other financial possibilities e.g. through their respective embassies to cover flight costs as in the case of Asit Poddar.

Further ideas:

Volkmar Sommer found three galleries close to the B 26 gallery for extra exhibition space.

Parallel to that there should take place a Kids' Guernica action in Kreuzberg since two schools exist in the vicinity to the gallery

artists can work with children of Kreuzberg during the duration of the exhibition on a new Kids' Guernica mural and insofar as this can demonstrate what all artists have been doing, it would be an integral part of the exhibition.

Note: it never came to the exhibition as the gallery owners could not longer sustain financially and organisationally the gallery and thus the opening on 21st of October 2010 had to be cancelled.
