at the Literary Discussion held in Chios in conjunction with the Kids' Guernica exhibition, May 4 - 7, 2007

It took place at the Papyros Bookshop on Aplotariasstr. 44

The discussion took place between George Crane, author of “Bones of the Master” and “Beyond the House of the false Lama” and Noriaki Suzuki, Zen Priest and Art Educator

This was followed by the poetry reading of Miriam from Lebanon

The entire event was moderated by Socrates Kabouropoulos from the National Book Centre of Greece

My life

Since my lovely birth

Am in love with my mother earth

Waterfalls satisfy my thirst

Beautiful rainbow in the sky

Strengthens my sight

Its birds sound clear

Is my music to hear?

The treasure of its soil

Makes my heart boil

So my life is complete

I feel so serene

I feel so neat

And I live in peace

Peace and War

There are words like Peace

Sweet and wonderful to say

On my heartstrings Peace sings

All day everyday

There are words like WAR

That almost makes me cry

I you had known what I know

You would realize Why.
