Picasso’s Guernica
Kids’ Guernica exhibition in New York 2011
Kids’ Guernica is an international movement initiating cultural actions to further informal learning by letting children and youth through collaborative work paint peace murals the size of Picasso’s original Guernica painting (3,5 x 7,8 m). The aim is to bring together peace murals painted all over the world and in conjunction with the United Nations hold a world exhibition in New York. If so then it would be done in conjunction with Spyros Mercouris who plans to exhibit in New York an exhibition about the influence of Ancient Greek Drama upon the Opera.
