Mission Statement
POIEIN kai PRATTEIN
aims to bring together 'creativity' and 'productivity' to promote cultural innovation
and in so doing wishes to promote civic values through Good Practice in the arts, philosophy and practical policy fields,
in particular through (cultural) planning and cultural actions becoming community wide actions.
Governance of civil society should be based on the equality of gender, human dignity and participation and make possible democratic decision making processes.
Priorities of POIEIN KAI PRATTEIN
- contribute towards improving life of citizens in cities
- engage at policy levels (planning, culture, economy, environment)
- follow-up as to how people experience daily life
- promote work of interdisciplinary character
- network with other NGOs and other organisations of Civil Society
- engage in activities aiming to bring about sustainable development
- uphold the Rights of Children, Youth, the Elderly, Women and Men in all walks of life
POIEIN KAI PRATTEIN prepares and implements European projects in collaboration with Local Authorities, NGOs, SMEs, Institutions, Universities and other international bodies.
Poiein Kai Prattein collaborates with Kids' Guernica International to make possible peace murals on a canvas the same size as Picasso's Guernica (7,8 x 3,5 m).
